I too would like to wish Conor and his family good wishes and love.
It would seem that the whole world has gone crazy when it come to natural disasters.
At this time we can only hope and wish for better times ahead.
Hold on and take care.

Re: Apple Silicon
It would be great to get an update regarding the universal binary release of the apps. The last update in this topic was the need to update some API's and drop support for some older MacOS in the 10.x family, that don't have compatibility with Apple Silicon. Any news would be really appreciated. :D ...

Re: Keep the Pedias Alive
I have the App Store versions (6.2.1) of Bookpedia, CDpedia and DVDpeadia installed on a 14" MacBook Pro (18,3) running macOS Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68) and aside the odd UI glitch, they seem to be running OK. However I can say I have been spending a lot of time on these lately. Waiting for the nex...

Re: Big Sur vs Ventura
No problem.
I know that Conor is working on a new version and hope it gets released early next year.
Everyone including myself are worried about the future of these apps as detailed in the "Keep the Pedias Alive" posts.
I'll still be here next year.
Cheers!

Re: Big Sur vs Ventura
Hi, Updating to Ventura depends on the number of Apple devices you own and whether or not these devices can still be upgraded to the latest Operating Systems (iOS,iPadOS, macOS, ....) and finally if you use iCloud to synchronize your app data between these devices. In my case, I use iCloud to sync m...

Re: Moving a Topic
Looking at it from that perspective, it does make sense to leave the "2022 Wish List - Top 4" topic where it currently is.
As always, thank you for your time and feedback.

Moving a Topic
I created a topic (2022 Wish List - Top 4) in "Feature Requests" that should have been in "PediaTalk".
Is there a way to move that topic and if so, how?
Thank you.

Re: Send selection to iWeb no longer relevant
Thanks Conor. Looking forward to the next update. As for the consequences of removing the iWeb menu, the saying is that you can not please everyone. Complaining about the sun coming up tomorrow will not stop it from doing so. And last, change (good or bad) is the one constant in the world. Cheers! :D

Re: Send selection to iWeb no longer relevant
Thank you FineWine for pointing this out. :) I had never noticed that menu option and I had to lookup iWeb . From what I understand, iWeb was a web creation app which could publish to MobileMe which was discontinued/shutdown by Apple on June 30, 2012. All that to say that I agree that it should be r...

Re: Change app name
As FineWine points out, the name change has been discussed before. I had an email conversation with Conor about this when I started using the Bruji apps. Let look at each of these apps while focusing on the name and icon. Bookpedia The name obviously can stay the same. The icon could stay the same w...

Re: CDpedia - Apple Music Track Links Broken
As a follow up to the testing,I am subscribed to iTunes Match where my ripped music collection is available on any of my Apple devices via Apple Music. So I do not have to download a track to my local storage to play it. Question. Can CDpedia link to a track in Apple Music regardless if has been dow...

Re: CDpedia - Apple Music Track Links Broken
Lost the track links again this morning so this is definitely random. :( Then I picked different albums throughout my collection and found that some had complete track links while some had links to only one or two tracks. I think I now know why but I will have to do a test before I jump to any concl...

Re: CDpedia - Apple Music Track Links Broken
UPDATE: Opened CDpedia today to do some editing and found that the track links were back so the issues seems to be intermittent and cannot be reproduced at will.
I wonder if others have had this happen as well.

CDpedia - Apple Music Track Links Broken
App Store CDpedia Version: 6.2.1 macOS Version: 12.3.1 (21E258) It would seem that the latest release of macOS (see above) has broken the track links between CDpedia and Apple Music. I was able to verify this issue on an M1 Mac mini and M1 Pro MacBook Pro. I know the is an updated version of the app...
