What can I say! You guys never cease to amaze me. It's terrific! Thanks!

Re: Pocketpedia sort issue

At the moment Pocketpedia defaults to title sort on a collection that is sorted by dates. Figuring out how to group the entries when sorted by date turned out to be complicated. Depending on the movies and column it might make sense by month or by year, sometimes even by week. Not to mention the in...

Pocketpedia sort issue

Hi - My Pocketpedia only sorts each individual collection to whatever is selected in 'Library' on my Mac, which in my case is alphabetical by Title. But my other collections are sorted in different ways - for example, my 'Recently Bought" smart collection is sorted by 'date added' and my 'Oscar...

Re: DVDpedia: Cover source

I've considered the movie poster route, but this would mean I would have to change over 600 pictures. I am just unwilling to do that. It also doesn't help for TV show box sets. I changed over 600 titles to poster images in a few hours. I opened Safari on the right side of the screen and DVDpedia on...

Re: DVDpedia: Cover source

Another suggestion: don't use DVD Covers, use the original movie poster. If you compare both, you may be astonished about the huge differences. DVDs often use catchy photos or they reinvent a nostalgic looking cover which isn't authentic at all. If you use the original movie posters for DVDpedia yo...

Duplicates

Hi - can you tell me what criteria the 'Duplicates' feature uses to find the dupes? I have several duplicates that have the exact same title but are different editions - sometimes 'Show Duplicates' lists these sorts of DVDs as duplicates and sometimes not. Is it looking at the bar code number, the t...

Re: Still No Sync Button On iPod Touch

I've read through all the forums and the comments on iTunes. I can't get a sync button to appear on my iPod touch. I have the latest version of pocketpedia installed on my 2nd Gen iPod Touch and the latest version of DVDpedia on my iMac. I tried installing DVDpedia on my new MacBook Pro as well, bu...

Link behaves peculiarly

Hi - try this link in the Links section: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/movies.php?id=1136&show=review When I use this review link, it removes the ability to go back to the info pane or to the next link. IE, the arrows and the OK button disappear and the web page takes over the entire DVDpedia wi...

Re: film information source

I have been using Imdb as the only source for film information in DVDpedia. However, in looking over my collection, I find that there are many, many errors. Perhaps the worst is the "Genre" field. Alfred Hitchock, for example, made the film "The Man Who Knew Too Much" twice - on...

Same Director, Same Actors

In the full screen view I can click and bring up a list of my movies that have 'same director' or 'same actors'. I can't seem to be able to do this in the regular view. Any plans to make it so? Thanks.
