Play Ripped Movie files
Hi - can someone help me out with this? I've had DVDpedia for years but this is the first time I have tried to use it as a media player. I am ripping the entire disc from the original (legally owned) DVD using Mac The Ripper. This creates a folder named the same as the Movie. If I go to Apple's DVD ...

What a star you are, Nora. How did I miss that?! Thanks for the ultraprompt reply.Nora wrote:You can use the 'Play Count' criteria to create a smart collection based on how often a movie has been watched. (The play count is based on the 'Last Seen History'.)

Field for last seen history
Hi guys, Is it possible to add to the Desired Features List a new field which would enable users to make a smart collection based on the number of times a movie has been watched? Eg, Seen History is greater than 5 and so on? This would enable us to make a smart collection of the movies we watch most...

Is it possible to give us users a status update on your great product: Pocketpedia2?
Is there anything we (the users) can help you with?

Re: Please, please, please...iPad
I want the ability to enter my DVDs/BluRays on my iPad. I tend to use the iPad more that I do the Mac (and I have been using the Mac since 1986). kevin I think, now that Bruji is actively working on an Amazon-free version of DVDpedia, it won’t be too long before your wish is granted. I agree 100% w...

Re: IMDB typo?
I see it if I examine any entry, and then click on the little gear-shaped icon in the lower right hand corner to add further information. Imdb is gone, and has been replaced by Tmdb. It's there on mine. Make sure you have IMDb ticked in Prefs, "Add Edit Panel" etc... Kind Regards, Keith

It's not bad - especially for covers. Good resolution.sjk wrote:Where specifically are you seeing that typo?
The TMDb site exists, but I've never tried using it with DVDpedia.

Fantastic value for money I'd say.sjk wrote: Just couldn't resist responding earlier to my reaction to your "very cheap" remark coming across as "shabbily inferior and worthless", which I'll bet most of us agree certainly isn't true for Bruji's products.

Re: Pedias in the MacApp Store
I hope the MacApp store works out for Bruji. Very seriously. To me as an outsider it looks like a huge crap sandwich for a software house or developer to eat. I consider the Pedias to be top Mac applications and (seriously) hope your next major version requires an upgrade cost. I have been using th...

Re: DVDPedia & TMDb
Thank you for the two examples, there was a special cases that resulted in getting the last image when matching movies via their IMDb number. DVDpedia Beta 48 should download the first listed image in all cases. Please do let me know if that is not the case. It's easy to work with TMDb API so it al...

Re: DVDPedia & TMDb
Hi, The TMDb plug-in should bring in the cover that is listed as being the main cover for the movie (TMDb sets this based on the cover user rating). However, I did check the plug-in code and notice that if it does have to select one from the list it does pick the last one. This was a mistake on my ...

The idiot is the one who makes the mistake but then says nothing. :) I like that generalization of my specific example . Not that using the mouse instead of tabbing is a mistake , but still … :) :) Yes - I like the distinction between the 'complete idiot' and the 'standard issue' idiot too :) I nev...

Re: Pocketpedia2 Issues With iOS 4.2
Wow. Let me recant that and state that I am an idiot. Apparently in DVDpedia I had my library sorted by genre after adding movies and then synced, causing my library in pocketpedia to be sorted alphabetically by genre and causing the above errors. You're not an idiot. The idiot is the one who makes...

The view of the plugin is a bit wrong (bad line spacing) but at least it shows the data!
Thank you!

Re: PocketPedia 2 Wont Sync (New iPod Touch OS 4)
I understand Amazon forced them to hold the software from the iTunes store, but this must be sheer laziness because they could have went another direction like say IMDb or maybe follow the guidelines to put a backup. Sheer laziness? You "must be" joking. Making a negative accusation like ...
