Re: website goes down after handful of submissions
Wow that was fast. I don't often submit a bunch at the same time but I had noticed it was a little up and down lately. So far, so good.

Re: MERRY CHRISTMAS
Happy Holidays to you and yours, Conor.
Finewine is right. Your Old School approach to killer app development, wanting to improve it every day, for your users, is amazing. It's a holiday gift that keeps on giving.
Thank you!

Cursor (lack of) focus when Adding Manually?
I add a lot of things manually to DVDPedia, like my volleyball teams, and have always wondered why when choosing to "Add Manually" there is no cursor focus when the Edit Window opens. Specifically, why it isn't blinking in the Title Field. It's one of those things I've been doing for years...

Re: Cancel a Search?
I'm very likely one of a very few people who use Services. I live by the right-click!
I"m not sure what you mean with that?(An exact match result would be still useful to display to let users know they might have been wrong about not having the movie.)

Cancel a Search?
I very often use the "Service", I think that's what you call it, to search DVDPedia. For example, I'm on a IMDb web page for a movie and I want to go to that movie, if it exists, in DVDPedia. I right click on the movie title and choose "Search Selection with DVDPedia". If the tit...

Re: Ability to Change DogTag number in pedia
Happy Birthday everyone! As you may (or may not) know, movies are all about movies for me, not product. I don't care about dvd vs bluray or whatever, but I get that most users do. But this business of connecting to a poorly submitted doghouse entry, or one in a language I can't read, or something el...

Re: Stuffpedia?
Thanks :D I have a highly tweaked, finely tuned Details View based on the LeoTab Template for my movies (exporting to FancyIndex, thank YOU very much!). I considered adapting a new template for VolleyBall, but I was pleased enough, in a silly way, with how my Header info <Title Theatrical Rating Rat...

Volleyballpedia?
Hahaha :D I just decided to try and use DVDPedia to track Japanese Volleyball teams. I got tired of relying on google-translate to translate the team member names from the Official website. I'm trying to learn the players and google naming " Risa Shinnabe -> New Pot Risa" and "Ai Kuro...

Re: feature request - summaries
I never thought of asking for this as a request. I've always linked to infos/summaries I want to keep track of. And I do that a lot! I consider it one of the coolest things about the app. I also simply copy some from different sources and paste them into the summary field. I have on occasion wished ...

Re: Moving collection to a new hard drive and preserving lin
I just sqlite3 -version and came back with 3.14 (up-to-date Sierra 10.12.3). Will the update ZLINK Set ZURL = replace(ZURL, 'file:///Volumes/MyOldMovieDrive', 'file:///Volumes/MyNewMovieDrive'); work? Is this still the best way to point links to a new Hard Drive? [Edit] I just noticed this thread is...

Re: Adding Tags / Deleting a 'Rated' entry
Just wanted to let you know: I grabbed the Beta and then updated from IMDb that title with "See All Certifications" and it didn't show up. Great!! And I'd like to point out, once again, how cool it is that you do that kind of thing ... I wouldn't call this a bug. It's just a minor annoyanc...

Re: Adding Tags / Deleting a 'Rated' entry
Hi Conor, I posted this Title http://doghouse.bruji.com/dvds/872741 with the "See all certifications" if that helps you track it down. I'd love to see a Tags submenu but think it might be a chaotic monstrosity. Maybe if it's implemented by default off, and then like the "Fields" ...

Adding Tags / Deleting a 'Rated' entry
I'm looking at Grid View with Details. Is there a way I can add a Tag to a title without having to open the Edit Window, and click around and type and stuff? I keep right-clicking on a Title in the Grid thinking/hoping there will be a "Tags" submenu with my Tags in it so I can just choose ...

Re: Can Statistics be Exported
I was thinking about sharing some of the info with friends in other film forums. Like which director I've seen the most films by, which actors, and which theatrical release years I've seen the most movies from. So I guess I'm looking for raw numbers in a readable format. It wouldn't be that hard to ...
