You know MacDVDExpress ?

Post by Atomitanz »

Hi together,

I just seen at Versiontracker a new program called MacDVDExpress using DVDpedia!

I just downloaded it but at the moment I have not the possibility to try it. But I like the idea behind it.

Maybe you could include this function into DVDpedia.

back again. I just read the read me file. It seems easy to use. Just using a plugin and a special player.

Thank you for the link. We had talked to the person who had it developed. He is using a very neat setup using DVDpedia on his laptop and Mac minis with the movies on an Xserve; needless to say a large number of movies. I sent them some sample code to add DIVX support. We will be adding a link from our extras page, in the days to come, for those customers interested in playing movies remotely.

Super, I think that is a nice feature to have: the DVDpedia database and the movies as DIVX or what ever on the hard disc and choosing the movie to play by DVDpedia.
This will be similar to zapping the TV channels

With this the worth of DVDpedia is enlarged.
