DvdPedia Html Export

Postby shivahlk » Mon Jun 07, 2010 8:29 am

Hi Everyone,
I'm a new user of Dvd Pedia and I would like to export my dvd list to my Ipod Touch.
so I choose to export it on the Html format and download it to a server.
but when I log my ipod touch on my server, I can see the list but nothing is linked inside (I mean i see a list of dvd with "?" instead of the dvd's cover, when I click on a title to go to the detail of the movie, nothing happens.
so I guess I must do something wrong with my export.

thanks for your help,

best regards

Sounds like some of the files from the export did not make it to the server. Compare the files on the server to those inside the local exported folder. There should be an index.html file and then an images folder with all the covers in JPEG format, as well as a details folder with one HTML page per movie. Try uploading the export again to your server.

Hi Conor,
I did a re-upload and this is just the same. the weird thing is that when I check my export on my server through my mac or a pc, everything is linked!
ii's only not linked when I check with my Ipod Touch.
any more suggestion?
Maybe I gonna try to export with Mobile Me?

Very strange that it's only on the iPod touch. If you send me the link I can try it out on my touch and let you know.
