I have a custom field set up for "Number of items" (keeping track of multi-volume works). It would be lovely to be able to track that at the bottom of the window (currently, it lists the total number of titles as the number of "books," and can only display that and pages).

Additionally, when I do statistics with "Number of items," it treats the numbers as text, so that it sorts, for instance, "7" after "19."

Thank you for the feedback. Tried to include both, but the first one with customizing the footer is a lot harder than it seems, so was put on the feature request list for now after trying for several days.

The second one is fixed and 7 should now come before 19, if the number of times they appear are the same. The sorting prioritizes the number of times an item appears first. Hence why the bug went without detection for so long.
