Please send us a sample using Activity Monitor so we can see what the program is trying to do while it hangs. To create a sample, run the program "Activity Monitor" found in your Applications/Utilities folder, select the application name (example: Bookpedia) from the process list and under the view menu use "Sample Process" (command-option-s). You'll see a button to save the sample file in order to attach it to an email.
