There has been a huge increase in bots and scrappers on the forum. I also believe the latest release of PHPBB 3.15 has an optimization issue and it’s been affecting the entire site. I have disabled the forum for now, while I wait for an update from PHPBB or are able to track down the issue and solve it. I apologize for the missing community bit in the forum, I know how useful it is.
Also looking at other options to migrate from PHPBB, but that would entail a new installation and not sure if all the links from the current forum would migrate properly. Something else to investigate.
I am also aware that the IMDb plugin needs updating for DVDpedia and will look into that as well.
