Re: Intelligente Sammlung

Re: Bookpedia - not finding in search engines
Using that ISBN I found the book on several different sites (Doghouse, Open Library, Google Books). Have you tried selecting just one specific site in the search field, for example Doghouse or Google Books, and then doing the search?

Re: German forum
French would be really useful (mine's too rusty for email). We'll have to add that to our list of requirements if we ever expand. (Bruji is based in Spain so all three of us speak Spanish but Conor and Alex are native speakers, that's correct.)

Re: German forum
Thanks for the feedback but we're not actually American, which might explain a lot. I am German so I don't mind answering in German. (Conor understands a lot but his spoken/written German isn't quite there yet... )

Re: German forum
Thanks for the suggestion but I don't think we need to put up a whole separate forum for that. If a user doesn't feel comfortable writing in English, I will obviously be happy to answer in German but I think it's easier for everyone if we keep the general discussion in English.

Pocketpedia 3.3.3 is out
Check out the new version! It's got section headers for the sort so you can quickly see what's what. We even wrote a blog post if you want to learn a bit more about that new feature. And that's probably all we'll manage for the day because it is simply too hot to sit in front of the computer...

Re: Custom field names for importing
Conor didn't mention it but just in case that might make things even easier, there's also a direct importer from Ant Catalog into DVDpedia. Just export your data in XML format and make sure the cover images are in the same folder as your Ant Movie Catalog .xml data file. Then just drag the exported ...

Re: Updating a Large Number of Links
You can do that using the application Terminal found in Applications/Utilities. First though, start by quitting DVDpedia and making a copy of your DVDpedia data folder as a precaution. By default the DVDpedia folder is located in your Home folder under ~/Library/Application Support/DVDpedia. If you ...

Sorry, there was a dot missing. It's fixed now but in any case, here it is again: http://www.bruji.com/cdpedia/cdpedia5.3.1.dmg

Re: iSight is not working anymore
This is the first we hear of this happening. Could you please send us some more details so we can look into it? If CDpedia keeps hanging for you when you try to use the iSight scan, could you please send me a sample from Activity Monitor? While CDpedia is stuck and unresponsive, run "Activity M...

Re: Library is empty
Welcome to DVDpedia! To make your import part of the main Library (all imports are put into a library-independent collection by default so you can first check that everything went well), select the collection and from the File menu choose 'Include collection in Library'. After that you can delete th...

Re: autocompletion and tags
The autofill shouldn't forget or delete tags but check in the CDpedia Preferences -> Autofill that your list is still complete. (That's where you can edit the list too, fix existing entries or add new ones.) You'll find also an option there to "Rebuild" the autofill lists. This will use al...
