Need serial number

Is there a quicker way to get my serial number? I used the form on the website 2-3 days ago but haven’t heard anything.

I need the serial number to install my dvdpedia on a new device.

Re: Simple Request?

I know this is an old request but I was wondering if there had been any changes in new updates? It would make my organization pet peeve simpler. I just wish the custom fields were tag fields to have multiple values in them.

Re: Poor search results

I’ll give that a try, thanks!

I don’t have Mojave, so I can’t switch to the beta.

Poor search results

Hello - I'm using version 5.5.2 of DVDPedia and I just started noticing that 99% of the UPC codes I enter don't pull up the correct movie and even when I try searching the title, I can rarely get the correct DVD. I've been added many of my movies manually.

How can I fix this?

Re: Movie Totals Help

Thanks for your help!

I was more looking to get a precise count on how many movies I own, that also includes box sets. I may just make a custom field a total of movies.

Movie Totals Help

I have my DVDPedia set up to give me the movie totals, discs, days etc at the bottom but my questions has to do with actual movie titles and box sets. Every time I add a new UPC code, my movie total goes up by one and the same goes for a box set. Is there a way to have a total that shows actual movi...

Simple Request?

I don't know exactly the name for this but I will do my best to describe it. In the main tab when editing a movie (showing director, series, writer, producer etc) most of the fields allow you to have multiple entries and thus it shows in the statistics. For example, when I add multiple directors, ea...

Re: Export to Excel - DVDpedia

When I did the export, the image path did not come over. Do you know which category I would need to export?

Re: Export to Excel - DVDpedia

Was this using the "Movie -> update from" command? That one should be able to bring in the covers. The "Download covers from ->" contextual menu command is a lot stricter as it needs an identifying ID such as the dog tag or Amazon number, so that is can be 100% of the cover matc...

Re: Export to Excel - DVDpedia

Yes that was using the update feature.

I'll try the cover link issue. Thanks.

Re: Export to Excel - DVDpedia

Hey Connor, just so you know, I did a little test run of the first option but cover update didn't work. Any reason why it wouldn't?

I am able to copy and paste the cover from the old library, so there's still an option.

Re: Export to Excel - DVDpedia

I'm okay with that, as I didn't use the watch history all that much.

I really appreciate your help.

Re: Export to Excel - DVDpedia

Wow, thank you for the response. There's definitely a lot of information to take in and everything seems scary haha. I'll be trying a couple of movies at first to get the process down. In option 1, you're basically saying do the work in excel and import it in so that I'll have two libraries. Use the...

Re: Export to Excel - DVDpedia

Thanks Nora. I tried it and like Conor said, it added everything as new entries. Connor, I'm pretty much looking for the easiest way for me to go into my movies and update the information (actors, directors, producers etc) since many of my movies didn't transfer over the data. How would I do the SQL...
