Forgot to mention that I have the Pedia beta apps in a sub folder called Bruji Beta in the Applications folder. I'm wondering if that might be causing the "Check for Updates" issue.

I have done a clean install of MacOS High Sierra and after installing the latest Pedia betas, it would seem that the "Check for Updates" (http://bruji.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f= ... =15#p26082) issue has returned again.

Thanks FineWine for the update. I'm holding off on changing any of my apps at this time because Conor is checking the Sparkle the self updater version he is currently using. I do not want to do anything that would interfere with his research but if I have to go in that direction, I will. Thanks again.

I guess we need more emojis and animogis. They definitely need to stop promising and start delivering. With High Sierra I felt that I was on a Windows system not a Mac.

Just tested this issue on the latest CDpedia and DVDpedia 5.9.1 betas with macOS 10.13.4 and I can now click the double arrow button to invoke the dropdown list but it appears behind the Edit screen instead of in front of it. So it is is partially fixed.

Each of my Pedia apps data is store under Documents/App Data/Bruji/ and it hasn't affected my load time but then again I launch the apps on a daily basis so the data is still cached locall...

Last November when the first beta of what will become version 6 was released, the focus was mainly about changes for the details view and including fixes for those experincing issues.

Without necessarily providing dates, I was wondering what the next focus area will be?

DVDpedia has Credits where cast and crew information can be entered. Would it be possible to add this to CDpedia? It would be great for entering musicians with what instrument they play and other production roles not available in the default fields.
