Re: Single Album with Multiple CDs
Update I was able to enter the multiple CD album using the album UPC via the iSight camera. :) But unlike scanning the CD itself, you don't get the track duration information or the disc ID. :( The forum that I referred to yesterday was http://www.bruji.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6687&hi...

Single Album with Multiple CDs
I'm going crazy trying to figure out how to scan multiple CDs as a single Album. I found a thread from 2007 and 2008 on the topic but it is long and confusing. Can anyone provide a simple step by step on how to do this properly?
Thanks
Thanks

CDpedia - Open Google Images issue
CDpedia 5.4.2 Steps to reproduce: 1. Select an album that has an ampersand in the title (i.e. Wind & Wuthering). 2. Make sure that the Cover feature is set to Show. 3. Right-click on the cover and select "Open Google Images" Note that in the Google search field, the title is truncated ...

Re: CDpedia - XML Import on Disc ID and Duration
Thanks Connor. I should of said reside side by side rather than run. Given the numerous transactions that a DB must maintain it would be risky running both at the same time.

Re: CDpedia - XML Import on Disc ID and Duration
When I mentioned filtering, I was actually referring to the Smart Collections. For example, I setup a folder Called "By Format" and added smart collections in it for each format. A find and replace would be be handy. I have downloaded the CDpedia beta version but have not moved it to the a...

Re: CDpedia - XML Import on Disc ID and Duration
Hi Connor, I just love the power of the command line. Thanks! My DB is relocated in my home directory under Documents/Bruji/Music/Database.cdpd so I ran this instead. sqlite3 ~/Documents/Bruji/Music/Database.cdpd UPDATE zTrack set zduration = LTRIM(zduration, "0") where zduration like &quo...

Re: CDpedia - XML Import on Disc ID and Duration
Update. I guess it takes time before knowing where everything is with a new app. I did some digging on this forum and found a thread called CD length that solves refreshing the duration time of the album track for a whole album. This is done by inserting the CD into the drive, opening up the album f...

Re: Multiple Field Sorting
Thanks Nora.
I never realized it was that easy. Hasn't been a month yet using the Pedia apps but I'm learning. I was using Music Collector so I got to break out of thinking Windows.

Multiple Field Sorting
In CDpedia 5.4.2 I am trying to figure out how to sort my albums using multiple fields. The sort that I'm trying to do is first by Artist, then by Original Release and finally by Release all in ascending order. Can this be done?

CDpedia - XML Import on Disc ID and Duration
Hi, When a CD is scanned the Disc ID is automatically inserted in that field and the track duration times are entered without a 0 as a prefix (i.e. 5:48 instead of 05:48). I'm using an XML export from my previous DB and importing that XML into CDpedia. I've encountered the following 2 issues: 1. The...

Re: Movie Collections (Boxes etc.)
Thanks Rigido! I'm still transferring a lot of my data over to the pedia DBs so the only box set that I could do testing with was in CDpedia. It's Grand Funk Railroad's Trunk Of Funk box set which contains the first 4 remastered albums by the group. I went to the blog link and tried linking these. S...

Re: Movie Collections (Boxes etc.)
Hi Lasse, I have just started with DVDpedia. I was using a database that had the features your looking for but after all the years of using it in Windows, 3 years with the Mac version has pushed me to look elsewhere and find something that does not try to imitate the GUI of the Windows counterpart. ...
