Re: Actor Headshot Thumbnail Photos/Images in Info View

I do like the font change in the Right Box, it is not as loud as the one I was using. All links in the pedia's change to a hand on hover. Does the Director (regista) link goto an IMDb bio page? For the font on the Right Box...CSS's font-size is your friend :) I used 20px for the name and 15px, ital...

FineWine,
what do you think about this? http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/56 ... at003.png/
Can you see Director and IMDb fields are highlighted? They're clickable, a nice hand will appear when you hover them.

Let me know what do you think.

Re: Actor Headshot Thumbnail Photos/Images in Info View

I'm not home right now, I'll try to answer Does the right credit box auto resize with long names or is it set and long names auto wrap? I didn't touch rightbox definition, I just worked on on fonts size and decoration, so I don't know which behavior it would have. I see you have deleted the collecti...

Re: Actor Headshot Thumbnail Photos/Images in Info View

Hi FineWine, I started to work on your template, there are really good ideas and headshots are really great! cd_BE sent me a private message and told me that his/her image was just an idea and actually is a Photoshop mockup. In the link you can see what I'm going to do: As I think it should be "...

Best repository for cast

Hi, I started to work on my version of "FineWine's Cast" info template (http://www.bruji.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4570) and, right now, I always trusted on IMDb and downloaded full cast info. The problem is that with all the headshots (even just the placeholders) info panel become...

Re: Actor Headshot Thumbnail Photos/Images in Info View

I think in English it should be something like....Holy Crap! I love that!!! :D I would like to know something more from cd_BE on how he/she did the "Actor Bio" and yes, FineWine, I would like to have your Template and info, right now I'm using a slightly modified "Collection" sty...

Re: "POST" method for search form

Conor, maybe I didn't understand the syntax but: if I use withPost:encodedString , Xcode gives me 2 issues: "Use of undeclared identifier EncodedString; did you mean typeEncodedString?" and "Incompatible integer to pointer conversion sending "int" to parameter of type "...

Re: "POST" method for search form

Conor, I think that should be withPost:postBody. I put a stringlimit to let user choose between DVD, BR, Original Title, Director, Writer or Actor, so this is what I did: NSString *postBody = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"loc_ricerca=barra_navigazione&supporto=%@&titolo=%@&genere=0&q...

"POST" method for search form

Hi Devs, I was thinking to write a new plugin for an Italian site (DVDweb.it, it looks like it is a good reference for EAN, even for older DVDs) but looks like the search form uses a POST method. <form action="https://www.dvdweb.it/index.mv?Ricerca_TITA_2" method="post" name=&quo...

Re: DVDpedia (5.1.3) and PocketPedia (3.0.2) won't sync

Ciao Conor, installed PP 3.0.3 and tried to sync and again it LOOKED like it was stuck somewhere. This time I let it run as you wrote that should be a 1 minute timeout...apps keep running for about 3 minutes and than authorization window popped out from DVDpedia!!! Don't know if it is the new router...

DVDpedia (5.1.3) and PocketPedia (3.0.2) won't sync

Hi Conor...I'm back! :) Ok, I moved to OS 10.8.2 (fresh install), sold my 4S and took a brand new iPhone5. I moved DVD and CDpedia's databases to the new Library folder and everything looks fine, then I started PocketPedia on the (restored) iPhone and tried to sync, but no authorization window appea...

Re: DVDpedia: Article is ALWAYS ignored

Any update on this?
Why did you put an option to ignore/NOT ignore articles but english articles are always ignored?
I can't believe that the answer to users with many titles loaded would be to open Terminal and write commands to fill the 'Sort Field', that's ugly...

Re: DVDpedia: Article is ALWAYS ignored

It's pretty standard in English to ignore the articles when sorting, that's why the Pedias do it automatically. That could be a "non written" rule for English speaking people, but I think that if there is an option, it should work on ALL articles. I could say that an Italian user that has...
