8 years later and I don't find a color field in DVDpedia for getting color info from IMDB. Am I missing something> Can a field be added?

My iPad and Mac are on the same network. When I push the Sync button in Pocketpedia I keep getting the message to open or reopen the Pedia on my Mac. I do but still get the same message.

What do I do now?

Is their any way to sort a field as numbers instead of text?

I have a series of about 220 books that I would like to sort by number from about -5000 to 50 in a custom field.

Any news about this suggestion? It would be a major advantage for Bookpedia, as Amazon lacks a lot of data included in Goodreads records.

Well, I have not gotten data sharing a work placing for Bookpedia or DVDpedia and modifying permissions for all users to have RW access, at least in the /Users/Shared folder/ and applying permissions to all enclosed items. I have even tried putting alias's to ~/Library/Application Support/pedias in ...

I have several users on my computer needing to use the databases for BookPedia and DVDPedia. Since the data is in one users library, how do I allow other users to access the data. Will an alias with appropriate permissions work?

Thanks Conor, I had totally overlooked the column shown option. I could even make up a Collection for just fields I wanted to search. All fields often works, but often also gives too many results. BTW, I am very happy the DBS responds so quickly even with this many entries (and growing) and pictures...

I would like a more powerful search feature, eg, using the Edit Book or Edit DVD form/template as search input forms. It would be sort of like searching by layout in Filemaker Pro or Query by Example in 4th Dimension.
