Last Read Date -- How about started reading date?

Post by Bitruder »

"Last Read Date" implies the last date you read the book, but many times people don't read an entire novel in a day. It would be great if we could record "date started" and "date finished".

This is in Bookpedia obiously.

Thank you for the suggestion, it's an interesting one for the future. In the meantime because Bookpedia keeps a history for the last read date you could take advantage of this. Mark the book "read today" when you start reading and then again when you end and it the previous date will go into the history. If you then read the book again, you could go into the read history window under the view menu and label the previous dates comments field to avoid confusion.
