Cannot open the app because it's damaged or incomplete (hereafter the message in French) and doesn't want to lose all my library

Impossible d’ouvrir l’application « Bookpedia », car elle est peut-être endommagée ou incomplète.

Sounds like you have done an update to your Mac OS but have a older version of the app that does not have the new signing requirements.

You can simply replace your copy with a new copy from our server. Drag and drop to replace your copy.

Don't worry about your data it's not part of the application. It's stored in your home folder in ~/Library/Application Support/Bookpedia.
