In the next version, the associate ID will automatically use a default ID (Bruji's) if none is provided. So if you can't sign up for an associate account or prefer not to, you can use ours instead. You can download the DVDpedia beta if you'd like to get on that option early.

The Amazon Web Services (where you get the access and secret key) are open to all.

@Bobo - Doghouse has information in German but it's obviously still growing. Cinefacts and DVD Palace are good options (for DVDpedia) and MusicBrainz and DiscoGS generally provide information that doesn't need much translation (titles, tracks, artist names).

But can you sign up for Amazon Web Service account? You don't need to sign up for the Affiliate Program. The two are separate, as described in:
