DVDpedia won't keep empty Video Format

Post by jenv »

Go to the Fields submenu in Preferences. Observe that the default Video Format is NTSC. Set the Video Format to empty. Quit and restart DVDpedia. Go back to the Fields submenu. Note that the Video Format has been reset to NTSC. If you had set Video Format to any non-empty string, DVDpedia would have remembered it.

The field was designed to have a value, mostly PAL or NTSC. There is a default of "NTSC" built-in to the program, hence when the field is empty it resets to the built-in default. Thank you for the feedback that it should be possible to set a blank value, if you do not plan to use the field it can be turned off in the "Fields" section of the preferences; otherwise if you plan on filling it later use a single space as an almost blank field.
