Nora still isn´t correct, when update a film and in the titles is there any " & " the result is this:

Angels & Demons

Also when I search a film and there is only a result, the url is incorret, by the example

Staten island

I get this result in url:

http://www.filmaffinity.com/es/search.p ... &stype=all

instead:

http://www.filmaffinity.com/es/film357413.html

Thanks a lot.

Re: Update database of movies

When I search for 'Angels & Demons' on FilmAffinity I get zero results. (It only returns data for 'Ángeles y demonios' which doesn't have an ampersand.) I've tried several other searches such as "Mr & Mrs Incredible", "Cowboys & Aliens", "Red, White & Blue"; all of which return the ampersand in correct encoding. Could you please give me the exact search keyword you're using for the search that returns the &? Thanks.

The URL issue is fixed in the beta.

Are you sure Nora?

When I search Angels & Demons I get results correctly and the first is:

Ángeles y demonios
Angels & Demons (Original Title)

You can see where is the error there, when is there any film whith &, the result in dvdpedia is &amp

Thanks in advance.

Original title ampersand encoding is now fixed, sorry about the confusion we thought you meant the regular title.

Thanks Conors,

The problem is also in regular title, by the example:

http://www.filmaffinity.com//es/film369044.html

Where I can download the new beta?

Thanks in advance.

The link to the latest beta is always the same and can be found in many posts, e.g. Nora's last one in this topic.

Thank you for the examples. I have fixed the extra issues with the ampersand and the double space. The link, as mentioned by SJK, is always the same and the beta version is now currently at 61.

Thanks Conor, all is correct now.

I have realized that the following fields do not exist:

By the example " Liberad a Willy " http://www.filmaffinity.com//es/film911271.html

You importaria to add them?

Thanks a lot.

You're correct that these fields are not part of DVDpedia at this point. We can see about maybe including them in the future but for now, use either the custom fields to add this information manually (you can change the titles of the custom fields in the Preferences/General) or use IMDb to download the music and photography information into the Credits. (You can customize the IMDb information downloaded under the plug-in menu, the little white cube next to the Help.)

Please open the about box in your beta version under the DVDpedia menu and make sure that the beta version is number 62, otherwise download a new copy. Below are screen captures of the results with the latest beta:
