Within our home library Cache folder, there is a folder for each of the pedias. Within each cache folder is a series of folders within folders (using #'s 1-15).
Are these cache files safe to delete at any time? They don't actually contain any data themselves do they? Aren't they just so things load faster?

They are safe to be deleted at any time. They contain cache for the look-up information performed when searching for a movie online. Apple by default creates these caches for our program, so that searches are faster. For example it doesn't need to download the cover for Cars, if you first search for "Cars" and on a second search you search for "Pixar" as you will get similar results.
