Deleting Autofill in Fields?

Post by boatsandstars »

Hello, long time user, first time caller.

When I go to enter a field, and as I type if I have made that entry before, it pops up to save me from typing. Love it. Awesome feature.

BUT, sometimes I make typos. Since i've entered an Artist/Label/Options/Whatever that is now spelled wrong, I want to remove it from whatever file the program is looking at to auto-fill that box.

Did I explain that right?

Let's say I want to enter and album for "The Beatles"

I enter "The Beatels" by accident.

In the future, when I go to enter "The Beatles" it will pop up with "The Beatels" in the field instead to try and autofill the field.

Can I open a file somewhere and take out "The Beatels" from the database?

You can do it to the file directly as you found out when the program is not running; but also in the preference window under the autofill tab.
