don't download cover image as default behavior?

Is it possible to set up Bookpedia so tht it does NOT download book cover images as its default behavior? I'm not at all interested in the covers, and while I could trash them every so often, it would be a waste of bandwidth and time if there's a more elegant solution.

There is no preference for not downloading the cover images. If you have a program such as Little Snitch you could block the server ecx.images-amazon.com to block the Amazon images.

Would it please be possible to make "download cover images" a checkbox in the preferences?

Thank you for the feedback, at the moment we don't have any plans to implement this feature. But it's always good to know how the users are using the programs and what they are looking for.
