Hi!
I received my iPhone4 and tried to install PocketPedia2.
Now it says, it can't be installed because the resources had been modified.
Since it's not available anymore I can't download it.
Any suggestions?

BTW any news regarding the next version of Pocketpedia?

Best regards!

You should be able to install all your old apps onto the new iPhone via iTunes. Sorry to hear that iTunes is complaining about Pocketpedia2. It's quite complicated how iTunes works and each app is specifically signed with your iTunes account to work on computers that have been authorized for your iTunes account. We are currently working on the Pedias so that we can then begin work on Pocketpedia again, so no specific news yet.

Yeah it used to work. But i guess something went wrong when I upgraded to Windows 7 (iTunes is on my Windows pc but the *pedias are on my old G4)
Guess I have to wait until a new Pocketpedia comes out 8)

Adding Windows into the mix complicates things, looks like a wait is inevitable.

So, just for information. Is there a current Iphone app that is available and that allows me, from my Iphone4 to synch my dvdpedia collection to the phone
If not is there one due, and if so when?
Is there an alternative way of accessing it on the go.

Thx in advance.

Currently Pocketpedia is not available in the App Store because of differences with Amazon. We're working on a solution to this problem, i.e. severing our ties with the Amazon search, and once that's in place we'll be able to release Pocketpedia once more.
Alternatively, check out these ways of accessing your Pedia data on the iPhone: http://bruji.com/articles/2010/02/01/ge ... cketpedia/
