Hi there,
I have been trying out CDPedia recently. If I see correctly the programme automatically attempts to download song samples of the CDs I scan. I was wondering if there is any option to prevent the programme from doing this.

I have not heard of this behaviour but I also do not use CDpedia,
First port of call would be to have a look at MenuBar > Help > CDpedia Help > Overview > Getting Started > Adding albums > Adding entries > scanning a CD then have a look at the bottom paragraph regarding going into macOS System Preferences > CDs&DVDs your query could have something to do with one of those setting switches.
Perhaps someone in these forums who uses CDpedia can provide better Help regarding this.
